*Our Experience with Castalia*

After visiting a few bridal boutiques, we were so tired. Reluctantly, we stepped into Castalia, thinking that it would be another bridal boutiques that offered similar package and photo-shooting like the rest. As I and my wife were looking for something unique, a bridal boutique that could project our love story through the photos and imprint a great & sweet memory for us to uphold.

When entered, we were greeted by a team of fun-loving yet professional staff. Their smiles and jovial attitude, particularly JC, Julie, Helen and Catherine, their warm welcome, quick responsiveness and promptness, had shaken off certain degree of my tiredness and revived some hopes for my wife and me.

The most impressive was my wife and I had less than 2 months for our wedding preparation. On top of this, my wife wanted to take some shooting which defied the gravity and something unique. Without any hesitation, they accepted our request and challenge.

After listening to our request, JC and team led my wife to gown trial immediately. No appointment needed to be fixed, whereas Yen, the mentor, would guide and suggest me what we needed to bring and do for the shooting.

Upon this, my friends, which is a couple, after witnessing their attitudes and services, also signed up a package together with us on the very moment!!!! ¥(*_*)¥

Jay, our photographer, Minna, our makeup and hairstylist , and Dyven, the assistant, on that day of our shooting, they made the shooting so fun and memorable moment. Indeed, my wife and I both enjoyed the process.

After this pre-wedding shooting, our friendship with Castalia grown fonder, it just like a second home to us now. Whenever we went to JB, we will drop by and visit them...and bring some good foods for them to show our appreciation. ^_^

缘分让我们选择了Castalia Wedding 婚纱店拍摄我们的结婚照，我们的配套是在三年前签的～所以让全体工作人员对我们印象深刻。（大家肯定心想这顾客怎还来不来拍吖）

对我来说每个拍摄的过程都有每个很敬责的工作人员，首先就是谢谢拍照很专业和用心的摄影师Jay , 接下来就是让我印象深刻的摄影助理Dyven 他是一位很细心的男生，出外景拍摄他可以把你当公主般的照顾得很好！然后就是神手般的化妆师Eva把我变成像明星。 还有要感谢在选择婚纱方面帮忙我换上又换下的有几位美人Catherine,JC, 客串帮忙的Eva 辛苦你们了。 绑新娘车方面我和我老公都很满意要谢谢Helen & JC 的灵活巧手！

最后最重要的感谢人物Joey 她很厉害说话也会给我们很多意见～每次去到店里都和我老公聊不完的话题。我最满意的就是那盒子的要求… 谢谢你们全体工作人员你们是最棒棒的。

We did quite a number of research on wedding galleries to have our pre-wedding photos hoot and even consulted friends who have done their pre-wedding photography. Having an abundance of selections, we eventually decided to go ahead with Castalia Wedding Gallery! JC and Catherine's promptness and responsiveness in responding to all our queries and requests impressed us as most of the others were pretty impatient after a while.

Prior to the pre wedding photo shoot, it was the selection of gowns. Catherine assisted me and gave me recommendations on the type of gowns for my body type. I tried many gowns but she never once got impatient and told me to slowly try and decide. There were also many suits for men in many different colours. We also spoke to the photographer Jay who gave us ideas (we were clueless) and concepts.

My husband and I were very delighted to have a wonderful team working with us throughout our pre-wedding shoot. Eva, our make up artist and hairstylist is extremely skilled and did an awesome job with my awfully short hair and make up. Jay was our photographer alongside with Dyven and Yong Yao who were assisting him throughout. My husband isn't one who takes a lot of pictures and I have been rather rusty from smiling/posing in front of the camera. However, the team made us very comfortable and guided us on all the poses.

Both of us were extremely tired due to the husband's work emergency the previous night and me still recovering from my bout of flu. Nevertheless, they exuded great patience and accommodated us with all the requests we had, including waiting for us to have our dinner and rest before our last set when it was already quite late (PS: We started at 9am and ended at about 9pm).

A very big THANK YOU to the team at Castalia for such a wonderful experience. While most will be rushing to finish the job as soon as possible, the team did not rush us at all. Eugene and I look forward to selecting our pictures and are very happy with the services provided thus far. ♡

We first stepped into Castalia’s cosy boutique and were greeted with a team of fun-loving yet professional staff. They make you feel that you have been friends for a long time and we feel comfortable under their care in every step of the way. We were left with fond memories and I would have no second thoughts in recommending to my friends.

For the pre-wedding shoot, Jay was our photographer with Dyven as his assistant. They had guided us well for the poses during the photo shoot and we were pleased with the end results. Even though there was a heavy downpour during the outdoor setting of the shoot, we were very well taken care of. We also had a hard time to achieve the rain scene which we wanted however, Jay was very determined to achieve the effect and it turned out to be one of our favourite photo sets. Eva was my MUA and she accompanied us throughout the shoot. She was very creative in her make-up and hairstyles selection to suit my face shape and style of gowns.

As for the service staff, they were very assuring and thoughtful during our appointments. Joey is very genuine in treating customers and accommodating to our requests. She is experienced, proactive in making suggestions, thorough in her work and extremely detail-oriented. Helen and JC were very patient during my gown selections, very attentive to our needs such as album and frame designs. Heartfelt thanks to Castalia for making our experience with you a memorable one.

Special thanks to JC who helped us to organize the whole package, especially during gown selection. She is a girl who Never Say No! Non stop bringing all type of gown for me to try on without making feel rush.

After photo shoot, me and my husband were kind of worried as both of us weren't very confident with our look and performance, however the photos turned out very well- thanks to the photographer Yen and Jay!

Also, thanks to Joey and Helen who gave us their precious advise without us even asking. Their experience advise save us plenty of time at both gown and photo selection ☺☺

My fiancé and I felt so blessed to have a wonderful team working with us through our pre-wedding shoot.

Eva, our make up artist was so skilled and did an amazing job with my make up and beautiful hairstyles.

Yen, our photographer was so patient and accommodating to all our requests. He never once said no to the things we wanted to try our during our shoot. Jay and Dyven who assisted him also did a great job with patiently guiding us with our poses.

They are very professional and can customise to all your needs.

My main coordinator was JC and she was ever accommodating and remembers all your likes and dislikes. She also update, remind and reply promptly. As I was very indecisive on the gown selections, she was very patient, sincere and always give me suggestions and honest opinions which was what I needed very much! Whenever she sees that I'm uncomfortable, she will always assure me that she will find the dream gown that I want.

We were also served by Catherine, Joey, Winnie, Julie during the gown fitting and photo selections and they all were very patient and have very good service. They always make a point to let us feel very at home!

Their makeup artist Eva also do great makeup and hairstyles. I loved all the styles she did for me during the photo shoot! She's very detailed and will always check that we like what she's doing so that we will feel confident and comfortable during the photo shoot. She will also be there during the photo shoot to make sure we have perfect hair and makeup.

Photographer Yen & helper Yong Yao were also very friendly and made us very comfortable during the Long hours of photo shoot. Yen will always crack some jokes and chat with us and show us what he took to check that this is exactly what we wanted and the Turnout of the pictures were beautiful! (不要怀疑!)

It was a great experience with them!

Highly recommended place to visit if there are couples looking for to have their wedding shots done.

Castalia Wedding was recommended by my hubby's colleague and it was the first bridal gallery that we visited. We signed the two-day package on our first visit without comparing with other bridal galleries because I'm the kind of person that didn't like too much of hassle and troubles. I'm so glad that it was a right decision!

We chose Yen as our photographer as recommended by that colleague. He is a very professional one, talking to us during our photography session to make us feel relax, teaching us how to pose to make it feel more natural. He is a very patient guy and we really enjoyed our two-day-session with him. 

Eva was our makeup artist and she did a wonderful job for me. I liked all the makeup and hair style that she did for me.

Special thanks to everyone from Castalia Wedding, especially Catherine who helped us in choosing the gowns and I had tried so many gowns yet she was still so patient with me, and Joey who helped us in the process of choosing our photos and giving us good prices, Yong Yao and Dyven who helped us with the photography session, JC who helped us explaining the photography packages on our first visit without hiding any information that we needed to know.  It was an excellent experience with all of you and thank you for making it such a memorable one! After a fair share of research reading through forums on bridal shops both in Singapore and JB, we chance upon Castalia Wedding and decided to make a trip down to visit them. We decided to go with Castalia Wedding given the many positive reviews and bridal photos effect which we pretty love it from their website. And we have no regrets till date. They are a bunch of fun loving, approachable and helpful people that we met. Our friendship blossomed from there.

JC was the one who attended to us when we visit the shop. She is patient in listening to our needs, explaining the fine details of the package and tailoring the best package for us. There is non-pushy nor hard selling. She also allows my fiancée to try as many gowns as she want till she find THE ONE and painstakingly explain what suits us best and what not. She will even go the extra mile to reminding you a few days before your pre-wedding shoot on the schedule, things to bring, and to have a good meal before the shooting. She is basically like the 保姆 and you will for sure feel safe that everything is well taken care of in her hands.

Peter was our assigned photographer and he is really skilful. Prior to our photo shoot, Peter actually sit us down to have a little hearty chit chat with us in understanding the kind of themes that we are interested in so that he can do some ‘homework’ in achieving what we want. Not only is he patient and humorous, he often tries to liven the mood whenever we get tired from the photo shoot. What we like about Castalia Wedding is that they allow our imaginations to run wild. So long as it’s within their capability, they will try to fulfill our crazy ideas and Peter did just a wonderful job on it. Thank you, Peter! His two assistants, Dyven and 顶尖模特儿 are also very meticulous and detail-oriented, helping us with the arrangement of gowns etc.

Minna was our makeup artist for the photo shoot. She is detail-oriented and enhanced my fiancée features, was awed by her skills. We do show Minna some of the hairdos that we like and she is able to improvise them. Both fiancée and I were very satisfied with the results. During the photo shoot, she is always around to touch up our makeup, adjusting our hairdos and accessories.

Lastly for Joey, she is a very friendly and creative person. She is the one who does the editing and designing of the album. We have no qualms about her work. It’s almost perfect. She is also an enjoyable person to talk with anything under the sun.

Overall, we are very satisfied with their service. They made us felt so heart-warming as if we are going to our 2nd home. Our pre-wedding shoot is a fun and memorable one. We would like to thanks Castalia Wedding service team for everything!

我们的婚纱照是在2016年2月14日情人节和Castalia签的 。 我们不喜欢晒太阳 ☉ 所以主要都是拍摄indoor。 还有自己DIY一些道具让构图比较丰富 拍摄前可以约摄影师会面讨论自己喜欢的风格 ， 甚至可以拍成爱情故事专辑 。懒惰的我们只要求画面干净 ， 不要大景,只要focus于脸部就好 。 成品出来后我们很满意 ，毕竟Castalia是按照我们的要求去修改,设计,构图的。 我们要感谢Castalia的所有美女员工,帅哥摄影师 ❤ 谢谢你们都没有对要求多多的我感到不耐烦 。 谢谢你们让我知道原来不是每家婚纱店都是hard sell的 ，你们总是很耐心的聆听我们的要求并做到顾客满意为止。 还有一点不得不提的是 ✔ Actual day的婚纱我于3个月前就选好了。最最最让我惊喜+感激的是Helen竟然在婚礼的前2个星期联络我说有全新的婚纱叫我去试 ， 结果我把之前选中的2套白纱换掉 ，完全不用top up $ 就让我在婚礼当天穿了2套全新的白纱出嫁 ，我爱死你了啦!!! 真心的谢谢你们

Fantastic staff who are friendly and helpful. Just when most couples would be busy with their wedding schedule, Castalia provides a one stop service for pre wedding photo shoot, actual day make up and decoration. Top notch customer service is what Castalia provides.

Highly recommended for couples who want a pleasant and hassle free wedding experience.

It was quite a random chance that we happened to walk in Castalia on one fine day. We were welcomed by Helen who is the bridal consultant and Yen the Head of photographer team. At start we were also very sceptical about the package as some bridal shop are very pushy with their package and hidden cost everywhere. We have not tried out any single piece of their gown. They started by showing us the photo albums which come to our surprised that they do customisation of the photo shoot where the shoot caters to the couple's story rather than typical photo shoot. Whatever u requested for they will try their best to compromise. Before the shoot, they will arrange for a meet up between us, the photographer Peter and MUA Minna to understand what kind of theme, make up and hairdo we are looking for.

During the gown selection, they selected a range of gowns for me to try on instead of asking me to pick what type of gowns I'm keen which may not bring out the effect. In this manner, u will not feel confuse on what to choose as bridal shop always have a wide range of design. Most importantly, thru out the whole process they treated us like a family member where they always joke with us and lighten up the atmosphere even though everyone is very very tired.

I find this as a very good service where they printed out hard copies photos in 4R during photo selection and group the themes in batches. This will allow you to know the actual tone after printing rather than viewing from the computer. Even if we don't take extra photos they will not give us one kind of attitude. As we do understand all this additional photos are part of their commissions.

After all I'm very satisfied with their service and their sincerity. I strongly recommend this bridal shop for couples who would like to create a storyline in their photo shoot :)

First & far most, me & my wife would like to express our gratitude towards the managing team of Castalia bridal shop at JB Malaysia. Initially both of us were quite reluctant to take our bridal photo there, as the travelling is quite far for us to travel from Singapore to JB Malaysia.  Then one of the day when we accompanied our friends, Jabez & Sanna to JB for a bridal shop as they are going to tied their knots together. On the roadside to nowhere, we were captured by a huge beautiful bridal photo onto the sign board & this have made us decided to have a look at this bridal shop's name Castalia. 

We thank God for an ideal bridal shop of our hearts' desire when they start sharing with us & give us their professional idea of how our wedding photo would be. This give both of us the confidence & idea to sign up the package with them.
